This 300mm square Clark drain MANHOLE features a factory-fitted rubber sealing gasket. The gasket is designed to prevent any unwanted drain odours from escaping into the air above it. It also features a moulded grouting flange, a fully galvanised tray and integrated lifting key blocks.

This Clark drain recessed product has been tested to withstand 60kgs of direct lift, which means it is ideally suited to internal use only. The 300mm square opening allows plenty of access to the hidden inspection chamber.

It will connect perfectly onto your 300mm diameter inspection chamber. This lift-out recess cover provides the opportunity for any inspection chamber to be accessed easily. With it’s integrated lifting handles, there is no reason for a set of lifting keys or any special equipment.

The integral lifting keys fitted in this Clark Drain recessed cover provide the easiest access to the chamber beneath. The keys are neatly contained underneath a pair of simple caps, which are easily removed by gentle prising. Once opened, the keys are lifted out using the recessed finger slots. Once they’re out, it’s a simple case of lifting the cover as you would using a set of traditional keys. Remember to lift from your knees and not from your back, and always take care when lifting heavy items.

The recessed section provides a superb integration option. These well-built covers are designed to be filled with concrete, paving, tarmac, patio slabs or any exterior surface material, they provide a well-disguised entry point. For internal use, you can happily fit them with carpet, laminate flooring, floor tiles and more. They provide the ideal integration inside and out. We’d go as far to say that with the correct care and attention and when they’re fitted by an engineer or DIYer with a reasonable level of skill, your covers will be almost invisible.
