Installation usually achieved by pressing the wings firmly into plaster dabs placed at approximately 600mm centres both sides of the arris.

The wings may alternatively be embedded into the first coat of plaster for normal two-coat work.

Beads may be cut to size as required by using a hacksaw and snips. Beads should be stored off the ground and in dry conditions during site work.

Product details

Using the Drywall Thin Coat Bead will ensure corners are true and clean for plasterboard or any smooth background.  Plaster bead and Mesh products are made with precision from superior materials for plasterers who care about the finish of their project.

Drywall Thin Coat Bead is used at corners to create a professional finish and protect and reinforce plasterboard joints, minimising cracking whilst enabling a finish of 3mm.

Beads may be trimmed to length using tinman's shears across the wings, and a fine-toothed saw across bead noses.

Thin Coat Bead (25mm wing, 3mm plaster depth)

Designed for use with one coat plaster work down to a 3mm finish.

Perforated wings to provide an excellent plastering key.
